NiFi Policy support for OIDC -> OpenPolicyAgent support

If I configure NiFi to use OpenID connect as authentication method, I cannot configure any policies. All user have admin privileges.

Are there any plans to support NiFi's native policies or to integrate the OpenPolicyAgent?

Update for the public: we reached out to Janis directly, as there are efforts to develop an authorizer in a, currently private, repository.
This is part of a master thesis and will be published after the thesis is done, we'll report back with a link here when it is available.
