This Working Group will interface with the BTC NFT Working Group closely, to bring upleveled, synthesized, knowledge, feature requests, perceived risks, and concerns that are trending in the NFT Creator ecosystem. We will share knowledge in achieving success around our NFT Collections, communities, and projects. This Working Group will be focused on tooling, and general topics around the NFT space to provide close feedback loops to other Working Groups to optimize in enabling and building valuable toolsets for the NFT Creator persona.

Objective & Scope:
We would like to get together a working group of passionate and diverse NFT Creators who love building out their communities and projects on STX & BTC, to have a forum for soliciting feedback and perspectives around:

• The state of the NFT ecosystem & market landscape on BTC & STX
• What are the impediments and challenges you're facing as an NFT Creator to grow your community and project?
• What technology or tooling improvements would you like to see in the BTC & STX NFT ecosystem?
• How might we make the NFT Creator experience more frictionless and easy in the BTC & STX NFT ecosystem?

Example General Agenda Topics:

These are some examples of general agenda topics for this working group. Every call, we can add ad hoc agenda items from the group as we start to make sure every discussion point is captured.

• SIPs/BIPs that may affect us (upcoming sBTC launch - ~Q3)
• General strategy discussion and knowledge sharing: how do you think about marketing / experience / community growth / utility?
• Market trends, such as the recent Ordinals boom, and how your NFT project may be impacted or may leverage these trends.

Deliverables / Timeline:

• Establish Meeting Cadence (Target: 3/29 @ 07:00 AM PST): We will start calls once a week for the first month, then move to a bi-weekly cadence. We can schedule ad-hoc calls as necessary. First meeting TBD, after recruiting the group.
• • Establish Discord (Target: 3/29 @ 05:00 AM PST): We can have a particular place such as our own Discord Server, or one in the Stacks Discord Server dedicated to NFT Creators, for asynchronous discussion. This network of NFT Creators can activate each other for assistance and connection to other groups within the BTC & STX ecosystem, as a strategic resource to push their projects forward.
• Synthesized Feature Request List (Target v1: 4/11 This is on HOLD for now, as other priorities have popped up): We will seek to maintain a prioritized Feature Request list from our discussions, that can provide a basis for discussion to the different Working Group teams, by voting from a diverse collective of NFT Creator projects. This will live in the Working Group notes.
• NFT Trends Report (Target v1: 4/14 This is on HOLD for now, as other priorities have popped up): We will seek to maintain and deliver an NFT Trends Report which captures some of the recent highlights that the NFT Creators Guild sees in the NFT landscape, for other Working Groups to share knowledge and insight.

Wow, kudos for you! that sounds like an exciting opportunity for NFT developers to come together and share their knowledge and experience! Great to see working groups focused on tools and improvements to the BTC and STX NFT ecosystems . In particular, it focuses on addressing the challenges NFT developers face as they grow their communities and projects. Of particular interest are results such as the consolidated feature request list and his NFT trend report, which provide valuable insight and guidance to other working groups in the BTC and STX ecosystems. We can't wait to see what this group achieves and the impact it has on the NFT space!

This is great; thanks for taking & sharing notes! 7a is a little early most days for me to join, but I'll both try to whenever I don't have a late night, and stay updated from the notes when I can't make it.

Access to resources (primarily talent; engineering) to accelerate our roadmap is my key impediment & challenge.

A key thing I'm trying to both do and incept into the community is that whenever any of us spend resources to build something cool, we should all be finding ways for it to include & benefit the rest of the community. The Parrot's gallery is a good example of this. In my case, we're planning to incorporate additional collection's into our game environment as either playable characters, random guests, artwork on walls, etc.

Hello , thanks for the twitter space.
I would like the idee for some mentorship. In my example .. I had a fine art education, .. and when I discovered ordinals halfway Feb. I had to get on the wagon. So whiteout lot's knowledge or experience into " digital art" I started inscribing. And along the way you discover lot's of obsticals ... Like json files , formats , compressing , inscribing correctly , starting a discord ... I loved the journey so far.
Maybe from an artist perspective 1 on 1 is not ideal, I guess whit artist someting like this have to grow naturally. how to match artist 1 on 1 , to create that magic pair , ... And maybe there are people on Gamma or Heylayer , ... who are knowledgeable on what to do or what not to do.It would be cool like to be able to jump into a discord ... and have that soundboard. Love to jump into the next space . Thanks

• Hero Gamer: there will be challenges around participation and engagement. Gamifying it with "mentor hours" can be a way to keep this sustainable. Recognition like Leaderboards shouted out by STX Foundation / Mintery, would help! Sees some overlap with SIP volunteers - can we expand scope to ALL volunteer hours across the STX ecosystem, for SIP builders/developers/contributors as well as NFT Creator Mentors / Smart Contract Developer ?
• Once we deliver key results, we can demonstrate impact and get more budget. Towards this, let's launch a trial program and prototype
• Idea - Live Event for Knowledge Sharing: Mintery does cohorts of 4 weeks. We can actually do a cohort with a specific timeline - 1 or 2 day deep dive: set up 10 different convos where people can sign up for sessions. We can record these knowledge share sessions.
• Idea - Self Guided Knowledge / Training: Recording videos for "Training Tracks" for different branches of knowledge, for self-guided training and learning.
• We need incentive for people to learn 2 earn, get an NFT, or something like that. Something to think about: how do we retain people in the ecosystem? Perhaps we can gamify the learn 2 earn aspects of a training module.

Concern/Risks: if the mentor is putting up many hours on this how do we ensure their time is not wasted? How do we ensure there is accountability with mentees?

• Recording the mentorship sessions where applicable, so the knowledge is immutable and reusable perhaps for training modules
• Defining the roles well where the mentor is the accountability holder for the mentee group for example: ensure that the mentees attend, and they follow up on their actions or goals from meeting to meeting. So we would need a place to record these.
• Defining immediate next steps, goals, or objectives that are achievable for the mentee group

Gamification to Make This Work

• Can we allow mentees to give input towards a feedback loop on the mentorship experience that directly attributes "Thanks" or "Points" to the mentor?
• Leaderboard transparently shouted out by the STX Foundation

• Follow Up - Ileana on STX Support / Mintery: STX Foundation is interested in supporting in connections and amplification. There are some Mintery projects going on that will clash with this project, so she's not able to be project lead here.
• Follow Up - Mentorship Program: asking people to be general mentors seems to not work based on previous experience. Concerns around gamification not being "shiny" enough or have enough value add for giving their time towards mentorship. Previous experience, didn't gamify it.
• Past Experience: had group mentorship for industry experts (NFT Projects, Marketplace Devs / Leaders, etc.). Currently not an ongoing thing - this is cohort / bootcamp based.
• NFT Creator Onboarding Course - asynchronous training launching end of month. Link?

• Nathaniel: Getting this level of fidelity will be hard with Ordinals. What might be interesting would be "reference data" or a Metaverse interoperability spec for the assets to be ported from Metaverse to Metaverse.
