We want to use Verdaccio as a proxy to several custom repositories.
These repositories include:

• Infragistics NPM registry
• Google Artifact Registry

Both of them do NOT support long-living token authentication, but they do support username/password authentication.

For Infragistics:

registry=https://packages.infragistics.com/npm/js-licensed/
//packages.infragistics.com/npm/js-licensed/:_auth=<base64-key>
//packages.infragistics.com/npm/js-licensed/:username=<email>

must exist

For Google Artifact Registry:

Is there any way to do this out of the box?

It's hard to say just based on these settings.

You can try the following config: in the uplinks: auth: section set type to basic and token to username/password. If you don't want to put that into the config, use token_env pointing to an environment variable that includes the secret.
