Hello Orra developers!
We're excited to share our plans for making Orra's dynamic orchestration even more reliable and production-ready. We've been listening to your feedback about making AI-powered orchestration more trustworthy, and we're introducing two major enhancements that will roll out over the next few releases.
Guardrails: Building Trust Through Safety
Think about how air traffic control systems manage hundreds of flights safely. Each flight has unique requirements, but the system enforces fundamental safety rules that apply to all of them. We're bringing this same principle to Orra with our new Guardrails system.
Guardrails will provide automatic safety checks for all orchestrations, ensuring:
The best part? These safety features will work automatically. While you'll have the ability to configure them for your specific needs, they'll provide strong defaults that make safe orchestration the easy path.
Grounding: Learning From Success
Once we have Guardrails in place, we'll introduce something even more powerful: the ability to learn from your successful orchestrations. Just as experienced developers follow proven patterns, Orra will be able to ground its orchestration decisions in patterns that work well for your system.
You'll be able to define strategic plans - examples of orchestration patterns that work well for your use cases. These aren't rigid workflows; they're more like trusted recipes that guide Orra's decision-making while maintaining the flexibility to handle new scenarios.
Why This Matters for Your Projects
If you're building with Orra today, here's what these enhancements mean for you:
We Want Your Input
We're sharing these plans early because we want your thoughts and questions. Specifically:
We'll be implementing Guardrails first, as it provides the essential safety foundation. Then we'll build Grounding on top of this foundation. We'd love to hear your perspective on this approach.
Share your thoughts below! We'll be actively engaging in this discussion and using your feedback to refine these features as we build them.
