QR-Code Reader Logo QR-Code Reader Logo

QR-Code Reader is a barcode scanner application that allows you to scan and decode barcodes directly from your computer screen.
This app is made possible by Windows Snipping Tool, ZXing.Net and AutoHotkey.
This app was created just for fun and serves my specific personal purpose, so it wont get a huge ton of updates or additional features. But fell free to report any Issues you come across.

Features

  • Scan barcodes directly from your computer screen with the familiar interface of Windows Snipping Tool.

For a full list of supported formats, see the ZXing.Net Documentation

  • Copy the content of barcodes to the clipboard and display a notification.

  • Directly open weblinks in your default browser via a notification.

  • Directly connect to WiFi-Networks via a notification.

For this feature to work, you need Windows 11 Version 24H2 or later (currently only available for Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel)

    Github
