Differences to ECE template #16
Description
Many improvements from ECE instructions have been integrated and details harmonized. This issue tracks what's different:
Title page: different Degree programme location, Supervisor / Second Examiner / Technical advisor / mentioned, we have group BSc's)
AI use: They have it in the foreword, we as a subsection in the introduction. Intro section makes sense (BSc group thesis who did what and how much)
Margins:
CSE: Left 4.5 cm, Right: 2.0 cm, Top: 2,5 cm, Bottom: 3.0 cm
ECE: Left: 2.5 cm, Right: 2.5 cm, Top: 2.5 cm, Bottom: 3.0 cm
4.5cm is from the bound thesis era, move to 2.5cm?
Page numbering start: CSE: Introduction chapter, ECE: Page after introduction (apparently a historical relic), we keep ours.
Dot after chapter/section/subsection/subsubsection number: CSE: 1. INTRODUCTION ECE: 1 INTRODUCTION (something that might as well be changed, was some work to get the dot back there during modernization, and removing it just makes things even simpler)
Table caption dot: We don't have it, they recently added it.
The actual instruction text has diverged over the years. IEEE citation & copyright bits are something that especially should be kept in sync, and probably doesn't make sense to do Finnish translations & spellchecking for the other parts twice either.
