It would be good to have a standard URL that redirects to the latest SDK release. Some ideas:
https://www.panda3d.org/download/latest
https://www.panda3d.org/download/sdk/latest
https://www.panda3d.org/download/sdk

We could use this link in the top-right menu item and in the GitHub README.md, which prevents having to update these links manually every time we cut a new release.

I made a custom menu item that always points to the latest SDK download:
