Balances displayed wrong, past transfers disappeared, UI app crash with dialog #206

Before filing a new issue, please provide the following information.

I'm running:

  • Parity client version: 1.11
  • Parity UI version: v2.0.3-20180831 beta
  • Operating system: MacOS
  • Installed via: installer
  • Fully synchronized: yes
  • Network: ethereum
  • I tried to restart both Parity UI and Parity Ethereum client: yes

Wallet balances displayed incorrectly: a million trillion times inflated (in etherscan balances are normal). Past transfers have disappeared. App crashed with error dialog attached

It seems to me that keeping a correct record of transfers into and out of an Ethereum address, including displaying correct balances, are essential promised basic functions of parity. These is not working in the most recent releases (and still don't work after reinstall). These plus some app hard crashing bug as well are reported and yet no one responds after 4 days of reporting. Is parity to be reported as being seriously unstable, unreliable in basic functions, and poorly supported also? help?

As you can read https://github.com/parity-js/shell the project is not maintained anymore. Still, the sources are open and PR very welcome.
