startup / shutdown

this project comes with statefulset.
when I restart the statefulset I see that the containers got the term signal, but not exit normally, so kubernetes kills them when timeout occured.

also startup/readiness/liveness probes not defined. I think this is the main problem about serving 503s when I running an ab test and restarting the statefulset while the test runs.
