Workaround when custom card does not work

Some users are experiencing issues with the custom card.

I have not at this time been able to determine the underlying problem so as a work around the program is generating the yaml required to create the equivalent entities card.

This is identical to the custom card as behind the scenes the custom card uses the entities card.

• Go the configuration, in 'Advanced options' click on 'enable creation of yaml files'

• Apply changes
• In HA Notifications you will find a (long) notification with the yaml file, copy all of the text

• In your dashboard create a card (preferably a manual, but any card will do) go to yaml and replace all content of the yaml with the copied notification

• Save changes
• You will have to do this for each program you define and after each change to the configuration that impacts the card
