Hello there! I've been recently introduced to ROSS, and I have used it to obtain lateral analysis of a rotor model (UCS, Unbalance response, level 1 stability, etc) with great results benchmarked against an existing analysis made by MADYN. However, the bearing dynamic coefficients were as a given by the vendor, but I have the geometry details of the bearing & lubrication information with temperature references. I have seen the THD_Cylindrical, but from my simple understanding it does not support tilting pad geometry, unless I am mistaken. So I wanted to ask if there is a method to obtain the dynamic coefficients of a tilting pad bearing, or if I can be guided towards how to make THD_Cylindrical work for Tilting pads bearings. Hi @emadlawati and @jguarato, I hope you're both doing well. As @jguarato mentioned, there are ongoing developments in ROSS to enable the calculation of dynamic coefficients for tilting pad bearings.
