As I mentioned in #1101, a possible solution to resolve the errors caused when running pytest on ROSS would be to change the numpy print option to the legacy version when the numpy version is greater than or equal to 2.0.
For this change to be applied to all doctests, a hook was created from the
conftest.pyfile.
