Describe the bug

When users click the "Join Discord" button on the homepage, it receives a white illuminated border. Upon returning to the homepage after following the link, the button remains highlighted with this border, which could be distracting and suggests it is still active.

To Reproduce

1. Go to homepage
2. Click on Join Discord
3. Return back to the homepage
4. Observe that the "Join Discord" button is still highlighted with a white border.

Expected behavior

When the user navigates back to the homepage, the "Join Discord" button should return to a neutral state without any highlighted border. Or it could only be highlighted when hovered.
