Git Data API

Is the Git Data API supported? I didn't see any mention in the docs. If not, it could be really useful:

Some helper methods that allow a user to basically give the library a bunch of files and a commit message and make a commit would be awesome.

Not, I don't think it is completely supported. But a few of those endpoints are definitely supported.
