Issue with describe group command when there is an active consumer #76

@CarlosGamero

Description

@CarlosGamero

Hey! We are experiencing an issue where the describe request for a consumer group fails when there is an active @platfomatic/kafka consumer attached to the group. The error occurs consistently and is reproducible in both Kafka CLI and Kafka UI. Once the consumer is closed, the issue resolves, and the consumer group can be described without problems.

Here is the error:

Could you please help us identify where the issue is? 🙏
We have prepared a dummy project to reproduce it, hope it helps https://github.com/CarlosGamero/plt-kafka-test

Thank you!
