Now that Huntarr uses SQLite, it may be time to revisit #380 and look into MariaDB support as well - options are always good, and some folks find it harder to do sqlite databases than other types of databases (eg. kubernetes environments where database operators are generally preferred over PVCs)

You should, converting to SQLite may actually impact some people who are using NFS / CIFS shares for their persistent storage.

Other projects have run into this issue and subsequently added Postgres support (Including radarr & sonarr)

I would say it is fine to default to SQLite, but then give the migration option to Postgres / MySQL.
