PolarsAllocator causes windows wheel (produced by cross compile) to crash silently

Is PolarsAllocator meant to work on windows ?
If so, on which conditions ? some pre requisite ?

Note: But PolarsAllocator seems to be very efficient. Without it the plugin speed is 4 time slower !
