[BUG] Alt becomes unusable when using it in alterate character key in keyboard layout

I'm using English (intl., with AltGr dead keys) and when I select any of the Alt (left or right) as the Alternate character key for the special character entry, both Alt becomes unusable and do not respond to any other action, so for example Alt+Tab becomes only Tab.
