Text input fields should correctly handle special inputs

This affects mostly the Settings search bar, but parts of this behavior is also seen elsewhere.

• does not react to arrow keys, unless in combination with Shift or Ctrl
• does not react to Home/End (this scrolls the pane instead)

Textboxes attached to scrolling view or otherwise have these keys intentionally disable to avoid conflicting with other visible elements.
