[Bug] Can't backspace in terminal

🐛 Bug Description

I cannot backspace in terminal after typing something.

📱 Environment

• sysAdmin version: 1.0.28
• Android/iOS version: Android 13
• Device model: Redmi 9
• Server OS: Daphile and Debian 12

🔄 Steps To Reproduce

1. Add a server to SSH Manager
2. Click on the terminal section on the left side menu
3. Type something on the connected terminal without hitting 'enter'
4. Hit on the backspace button to erase typed command/text/character

🧐 Expected Behavior

Typed text or characters to be deleted

🚨 Actual Behavior

Backspace button does nothing

I will check and fix this bug. It seems to happen with certain servers only — in my case, backspace is working normally.

Will investigate this properly and push a fix soon!

At least on 1.0.31 this issue seems to be not completely solved. It works with Samsung Keyboard, but not with HeliBoard.

I can confirm this. Just tested version 1.0.31 from fdroid and backspace doesn't work with Heliboard 3.1.

I feel this issue was closed by accident? I tried with both HeliBoard and the native Android keyboard and was not able to backspace.

Thanks for reporting the issue! I will check and fix this bug. It seems to happen with certain servers only — in my case, backspace is working normally.

In my case, the server is running Ubuntu Server.

I’ll try to fix this problem in the next build — I had added one extra condition and thought it might work.

No, I had actually added an extra condition to handle backspace properly.

Strange 🤔 — on my device it works (I'm using Gboard, haven’t tested with HeliBoard yet).

I’ll check it again and release a fix.
