Hello everyone,
I hope someone here can help me out with what's mentioned in the title.
I have spent hours combining various versions of upscaler and base plugin, without success (I was able to see the temporal upscaler menu when using base plugin version 1.2.0, but the game crashed and I was getting error message of missing backend files/DLL).
I have stuck with upscaler base plugin version 1.1.2. which is said to be working, but haven't been able to see the temporal upscaler menu in-game with whatever version of reframework pd upscaler (also tried some nightly) I was using.
I followed instructions with adding optiscaler files in new plugins folder inside reframework folder, renamed optiscaler.dll to version.dll.
In Lutris added WINEDLLOVERRIDES=n,b"%command% as well as in Steams game launch options.
In the main game's folder where game .exe file is I put nvngx_dlss.dll, dinput8.dll and PDPerfPlugin.dll.
I'm running the latest Bazzite and latest Proton-GE 10 version (maybe I need to use an older proton version?).
I've tried this with RE4R on Steam and RE8 (cracked) using Lutris. Both don't work.
My GPU is a 7900XTX.
I haven't played yet RE8 and was curious/wanted to also replay RE2R, without all the shimmering surfaces, if DLSS can fix that at all.
It doesn't have to work, but I'd be really happy if someone could point me to the correct versions/help out and being able to solve this issue I put so much time into :)
Thanks in advance,
Gabriel
