... goes beyond learning the preCICE API. We want to teach common patterns and practical software engineering issues. In particular, we want to explain the design decisions of the OpenFOAM adapter as an example. The quality criteria developed in work package WP2 should also become part of module including the newly developed adapter configuration standard. For a systematic adapter development, we will provide validation data for uni-directional coupling testcases using the replay mode of the artificial solver test environment ASTE.
