Native NuGet .props file is not imported

For native nugets that have .targets and .props files, the .targets file is imported, but the .props file is not. For example for myNativeNuget.1.2.3 I see the following added:

<ImportGroup Label="ExtensionTargets">
    <Import Project="..\packages\myNativeNuget.1.2.3\build\native\myNativeNuget.targets"
            Condition="Exists('..\packages\myNativeNuget.1.2.3\build\native\myNativeNuget.targets')" />
</ImportGroup>

However, on top of the project file we also need to import the .props file:

<Import Project="..\packages\myNativeNuget.1.2.3\build\native\myNativeNuget.props"
        Condition="Exists('..\packages\myNativeNuget.1.2.3\build\native\myNativeNuget..props')" />

Is there a way to do this or is it a bug/not yet fully implemented feature?

Can you share the relevant premake snippets you've attempted with?

I'm using this script

workspace "Primal"
    configurations { "Debug", "Release" }

project "Engine"
    location "Engine"
    kind "StaticLib"
    language "C++"
    cppdialect "C++17"
    targetname "%{prj.name}"
    targetdir (outputdir)
    files { "%{prj.name}/**.h", "%{prj.name}/**.cpp" }
    warnings "Extra"
    nuget "Microsoft.Direct3D.D3D12:1.606.3"

This installs the NuGet package. However, it doesn't import its properties. I added the following lines to the script right after nuget command and it works, but you'd expect that the nuget command would take care of everything, preferably :)
