I believe that Google play store in-app review API is a very good and helpful feature for any app to become popular.

Since currently, people who create .aab file of their website with the help of pwabuilder.com and upload it on Google play store are not able to take advantage of this amazing feature.

Hence I sincerely request the team to add this feature while creating website to android app bundle through pwabuilder.com, because it is very important.

I hope that this feature will be added into pwabuilder.com very soon, and we will be able to take advantage of it. Thank you..!

There's a proposed web standard for this! https://github.com/MicrosoftEdge/MSEdgeExplainers/blob/main/RatingsAndReviewsPrompt/explainer.md

Keep an eye on that - it would enable PWAs to prompt for ratings & review in a standards-based way.

You can totally do that. When you use PWABuilder to package your app for Google Play, choose Include Source Code:

Once you do that, your downloaded package will include the source code for your app. Add the changes described by Andre, build the source code, and you're good to go.

I'm going to reopen this case because we could update the PWABuilder Google Play code template to have the activity described by Andre. However, we'd need to register a custom protocol unique to your app. Andre uses doom-fire:// in his example. I guess we could use a variation of your PWA's package ID, e.g. com-mycompany-myapp://

Thanks for telling me, but this work is not as easy for everyone as you are saying. It is clear, it would have been good if there was an option to enable In-app review API while creating .aab in pwabuilder.com itself.
