This integration stopped working

I have a gardena sileno mower and this integration used to work fine until some changes on the api side.
Now the addon somehow reaches the 600 or something API calls in a day causing the integration to stop working.
So when adding it works fine for a few hours but then when the api limit is reached it’s broken again.
Any idea how to limit the number of api calls the integration does ?

Does anyone happen to know if there are offline connections for the Gardena Smart System components for HomeAssistant?
I don't like cloud connections anyway, and unfortunately, I hadn't checked whether the Gardena ecosystem could be integrated into Home Assistant without the cloud...
BTW: If it worked, it would be my only cloud integration in Home Assistant.

As far as i know there is nog local integration at the moment. I switched to the node-red implementation -> node-red-contrib-gardena-smart-system. There you can control the API calls yourself.

I set up automations to make the mower go back to its base when it starts raining and to prevent mowing if it rained in the past 5 hours and some other conditions” It also pauses the gardena schedule which is useless. Why did gardena not implement this ? And then they call it a smart mower .... really useless app and implementation, the only good thing is the API they provide.

Same issue here. The integration /addon reaches 700 API calls within a day quickly, and I am blocked out. I have not found a solution to this issue.

Removed it, tried to add it config flow issue. Then restarted home assistant after deleting the integration. Then re-added it again and all seems fine again. Not the best fix, but this worked for me.

Remove the entire Gardena Smart System and build your own smart irrigation system!
I've started the project now and ordered the parts for it... I want to have it all running by the weekend.
Maybe not the best fix, but this (hopefully soon) works for me ;)

I have to add, though: I was also lucky enough to have just purchased the Gardena system and still had the opportunity to return the system within 30 days for a credit note!
