Stačí použít dataclasses==0.8;python_version<"3.7". Je to jediný problém?

Závislosti jsou napsané v setup.py, requirements.txt je vytvořené pomocí pip freeze pro produkční prostředí, kde je Python 3.6. Při instalaci podle README (přes pip install -e .) se dataclasses nenainstalují. dataclasses v setup.py přímo není, je to závislost něčeho jiného.
