Ressource loading increases application startup time #721
Description
This issue can be especially observed if working from the VPN, as we have a higher latency there (20x higher).
The application startup time increases significantly with the number of person and affiliation entries. This behaviour is enhanced when using the VPN, but only makes the resource loading flaw more apparent.
Loading times of 1-2min can then be observed. We need to improve the resource loading during the app startup. We can think of background loading and or improve the query for the resource items.
