Redeeming Promocodes won't work

This might be related to #733 but since around October 28th users are unable to redeem promocodes. When they do code is redeemed, purchase returns an error, and restore purchases returns empty entitlements.

If I make a purchase with credit card it works, but redeeming promocodes just cancels and doesn't enable entitlements for the user.
The promocode is burned after this.

If the user activates on Google Play the app doesn't restore their purchase.

This issue is stale because it has been open 7 days with no activity. Remove stale label or comment or this will be closed in 5 days.

The issue persists. Promocodes issued on Google Play Store do not work. They are redeemed without activating user entitlements.
