I don't see anything obviously wrong here, so unless I can run it locally, I can't be of much help

Unfortunately, I don't know. You can try enabling quarkus.log.category."io.quarkus".level=DEBUG, but I don't even know what you should be looking for

Is the REST client in another Maven or Gradle module? If so, is the module indexed correctly, for example, by the Jandex Maven plugin?

Are the rest client interface part of another Gradle/Maven module?

No there are no modules and they don't extend any interface. As a matter of fact, I removed all modules and put everything into 1 project now. I'm planning to generate these failing clients programmatically. When I do that will Quarkus also automatically pick config from application.properties like:

• quarkus.rest-client.*
• quarkus.oidc-client.*

Even the programmatic building of the rest clients didn't help. The class/interfaces are just not getting indexed.

So in the end, I ended up adding the maven jandex plugin to my project, and now they get detected. Which is very strange, because I only have 1 module/project where all the source code lies in.
