I can't sign in to iCloud with my Apple ID on a macOS Catalina VM

I installed macOS Catalina VM and, made sure it's up to date and used qe_mac_apid to enable logging in with Apple ID.
The latter worked as expected, except that I can't sign in to iCloud since I can't get past the iCloud Terms and Condition loop.

This happens under VMware Workstation as well since this seems to be a Catalina-related issue. I tried some proposed workarounds on the internet but none of them worked for me. If you know a way to fix this issue please comment down below. In fact, I believe a solution should be mentioned in the Wiki later on.
