No warning for unavailable R versions

I just got a new computer (Windows 11) and was using rig to install previous versions of R. I installed the latest version of rig and ran rig add 4.3.2, which I thought I had done on the previous computer. It essentially got stuck at:

Downloading https://cran.rstudio.com/bin/windows/base/old/4.3.2/R-4.3.2-win.exe

There was no warning or error message, just a blinking cursor as if it was doing something in the background. I'm guessing it got stuck because the URL works but it is not a supported version.

Any chance we could get an error if it's not an available configuration?
