Re-make the vignette about PR functions

Some of the rendered output will look different after the general master to main switch (once #1480 is closed).

This basically amounts to walking through these steps again and updating our static "account" of what the various role players would see.

Yes I would love to feature that flow chart anywhere and everywhere it fits here.

Thank you both! I'd be happy to have the flow chart appear in the PR functions vignette or wherever you see fit. There are editable versions and raster images of the flow chart in my blog post (I used draw.io) but please let me know if I can help in any way.

Hello @jennybc, is this issue still open? The objective is only to change from master to main in this specific Rmd file? If so, I can create a PR to solve this issue right away.

Well, ideally, a refresh would come from a genuine new walk-through of the PR process. Find-and-replace for "master" and "main" isn't necessarily going to leave us with output that is indicative of how the output currently looks. I think, given that >2 years has passed since this issue was opened, there are likely to be other changes that should be reflected in the vignette.
