W64 release of 5.9.8 is empty

I downloaded r2ghidra-5.9.8-w64.zip and it is indeed a completely empty zip file. I don't think it should be empty?

By the way, using the older release, 5.9.6, is not an option because it wont work. It crashes radare2 as soon as its loaded.

Sorry for such a late response. The ci/cd fails because of the lack of zlib. It is strange that it seems to pass the check even though it has not xd

I see a way how to make r2ghidra build on win again but rn I am close to finish my Msc thesis and it is really time consuming. I will try to fix this issue as soon as possible. Hope you understand.

Thanks for triaging the problem, no worries. I've had problems with zlib on windows before, so it's not surprising

Hey, I tried to add zlib for windows builds and I think I managed to do so. However the error that I face rn is so strange that I am totally stuck. Here is my pr: #155
MSVC literally hallucinates:

There is no char in line 67 in modelrules.hh file so I completely don't know what those errors are all about. GCC works fine. Do you happen to know why that is so?

I think that I will update ghidra to the newest commit and then make a PR upstream about this.

I'm not sure, sorry. I had strange errors with zlib too but never like this. Most of my problems were at the linking stage since it tried referencing functions that failed to resolve properly.

I give up on this issue, sorry yall, I couldn't make it. If there is anyone out there that is able to fix msvc builds - feel free to make a pr. I am literally mad at msvc. We will update ghidra and see what happens next, but for now I simply give up
