ext. shows the wrong transaction value during pending view when using USD

I set the transaction to USD, the amount was fine.
It presented me the transaction, it looked good. I hit submit.
But then during the pending part (where the little circle was spinning), it showed my entire balance as the value of the transaction, or at least i thought it did... Either way, it was scary..

Even if I am hallucinating, I think this is wroth improving so I thought I'd call it out. If it happens again, I will try to screenshot.
