Filedescriptor out of range in select()

Got the following error running radian in a pixi environment. Reproducibly errors after running ggplot (still produces a plot).

This isn't isolated to ggplot, or as I've found - to any one command. This failure now happens intermittently, yet reliably on all my R codebase:
