BUILD FAILED (macOS 14.5 on arm64 using ruby-build 20240517) OpenSSL is installed still not able to find

i am trying to install ruby 3.3.1 using asdf , all the dependencies like openssl are installed but i am still not able to find any fix

in the log file i am getting:

i found the solution , seems like since i migrated my mac from intel to apple silicon , it was using intel arch installed homebrew

Delete old brew installation and install homebrew fresh

Im having the same issue too. I have removed and reinstalled homebrew but no luck

arch -x86_64 brew list

The arch -x86_64 part specifies the Intel architecture. If this command works without errors, Homebrew is using the Intel version.

nah, because arch -arm64 brew list works without errors, too....

I was facing same issue, and specifiying the architecture worked for me.
arch -x86_64 rbenv install 3.3.5
