issue with Loaddata.m

I am unable to find the reason why the for loop in the load data code in matlab file does not work.
the syntax is correct as far as i know, is there an issue with batch1(i).cycles(end+1:end+add_len(i)+1) = batch(batch2_idx(i)).cycles;

I am only a beginner in these works and would like to know if the syntax is wrong or there is an issue with the data struct.
