Save attribute table as Point shape file from an existing point shape file : 2 points only

I create a point shp with some points, then add to them a xbis and ybis field (real) with random coordinates around the points, and want to export these to a new point shapefile.
If I choose Save attribute table as Point shape file from an existing point shape file, it creates only 2 points, even if the input shapefile has more.
If I save the input shapefile to dbf and do the same, it creates all the points without any problem.
