Project must migrate from using typed_ast to ast

Typed_ast end of life is July 2023, as per https://github.com/python/typed_ast/issues/179

Also on some 64-based systems typed_ast cannot be installed with pip. I used the Canonical repositories to install the module via apt on Lubuntu.
