Pre-release workflow not bumping version correctly

Background context or User story:

When raising a tag for the pre-release version, the yarn version <<version-number>> command does not correctly bump to the correct version. Very strange behaviour below

Specification or Acceptance Criteria:

In this case, should bump to beta.12 not beta.6
