Error with dependency with AAP 2.5 and infra.aap_configuration - ansible.platform/controller/eda/hub Not Found

Summary

Sync Community repository at Automation Platfom 2.5 fails with error "404, message='Not Found', url='https://galaxy.ansible.com/api/v3/plugin/ansible/content/published/collections/index/ansible/platform/'"
the same error is for ansible.eda, ansible.hub, ansible.controller

Sync repository from private Hub

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

add collection infra.aap_configuration to community repository at Automation Hub in AAP 2.5, run sync

You need to disable dependencies sync if you want to pull from community instead of validated repo

thank you, but I will be able to use infra.aap_configuration even when dependencies are in another repository (rh-certified) ?
maybe you can fix at backend like redhat suggest in solution https://access.redhat.com/solutions/7127069 ?

that is not what that solution is saying, it is saying you need to pull it yourself because the community repo doesn't contain that certified collection. and if you have certified synced and in the lookup then yes it will pull from there the dependencies if requested from controller or cli. the real solution is use validated instead of community which does not have this issue. if you are able to sync certified then validated will work as well and we publish to both at the same time so there is no advantage to ever pull from community.
