Change the version in helm chart to apiVersion: v2

What is the error from argocd? According to the helm docs https://helm.sh/docs/topics/charts/#the-apiversion-field the v1 should be valid.
Perhaps this option could be useful https://argo-cd.readthedocs.io/en/stable/user-guide/helm/#helm-version
