Iit seems that there is this problem since few wee ks. Is it a bug from jetbrains?

It should be a bug in jetbrains. I found that my other projects also have this problem, and I compiled this warehouse for verification. The dependency of a certain plug-in is also missing. Currently, it can not be uploaded to the jetbrains marketplace. No solution can be found.

indeed this is an error since pluginverifier release 1.385. still present in 1.386.

@angelozerr @sbouchet We have also reported this issue to JetBrains here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/MP-7524 with respect to a Liberty Tools for IntelliJ release we want to publish to the Marketplace. We've tried asking on their forums: https://platform.jetbrains.com/t/urgent-liberty-tools-plugin-reports-unresolved-dependency-on-com-redhat-devtools-lsp4ij-in-intellij/1835 but haven't received a response from them yet. And yes, we suspect that this is a problem with their plugin verifier too.

Can confirm this is an issue with https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-plugin-verifier version 1.385 & 1.386.

You can verify this yourself with the gradle task under intellij platform verifyPlugin and changing the versioning in the build.gradle.kts to 1.384, then to 1.385, and lastly 1.386 (latest).

This won't prevent plugins from being released. It will only prevent the automated release process. The marketplace reviewers can manually approve the plugin, and have for mine. If your releases are being held up, send an email to the marketplace contact for intellij marketplace.

at least your workaround can be used to locally verify the plugin using an old version, and be used also in githubaction check. @angelozerr is it worth to create a PR for this ?
