I just installed Notepad3 on German Windows 11 24h2, also used German als language. But opening my txt files, Notepad3 does not properly recognize the encoding and shows "DOS-852" on the status bar. I have lots of wrongly encoded characters in my files looking like this:
Opening the same txt files in normal Notepad or other editors like Noepad++ works fine and it shows UTF-8, all characters are properly decoded there.

Hello @makedir ,
I advise you to use the latest version of Notepad3 RC3 (Release Candidate 3).
So feel free to use the latest "RC3 PortableApps", version "Notepad3Portable_6.24.828.1_rc3.paf" or newer, see the 1st list in issue #1129.
Or feel free to use the latest "RC3 Setup", version "Notepad3_6.24.828.1_rc3_Setup" or newer, see the 2nd list in issue #1129.
Is there a way to remove the terrible blurryness of the fonts? The font looks really bad when compared to other editors like Notepad or Norepad++. Zoom levels wont change anything. It just looks blurry and also has weird red ghosting smears around the fonts.
