[ANDROID] Readings not updating

Great app! I'm trying it and can get readings but they dont update in real time, I need to put the app into the background the foreground again for the PM values to show updated on the screen.

I'm using a Pixel 3a XL running Android 11.

Any suggestions on how I can debug it?
