Error while adding a balance trade

I am on the develop branch

I am switching to a new computer and need to add a few balance trades to get the position in line with the broker.
Through interactive_order_stack :
Menu 1 Create orders
Then menu item 13 Balance trade

Here is the output :

Most likely use case here is that IB has closed one of your positions as close to the expiry
Or an edge case in which an order was submitted and then filled whilst you were not monitoring fills
Or perhaps you are trading manually
Trades have to be attributed to a strategy (even roll trades)

There is no request for a strategy.
Does this need some code amended?

It seems your private configuration file is not configured properly?

In the default confiugration file, defaults.yaml, strategy_list is commented out. It may explain why the script works up to a point where trying to retreive the strartegy list.

You could check with

from sysdata.data_blob import dataBlob
data = dataBlob()
print(data.config.private_config_filename)
print(data.config.get_element('strategy_list'))

I faced the same problem with balance trade. strategy_list in private configuration is configured.

I did not solve the problem, and I still use a very old SHA, as my production server.
The solution I have contemplated was to close all positions and then restart with the new setup. I have been far to nervous to try it, in case there is another bug in the latest that will not allow me to modify and correct the occasional mistakes, like a missed roll, or something of that nature. I used to run two servers and alternate them on a weekly basis and sometimes the transition was not as smooth as it could be and I found the ability to repair that invaluable.
I think I should put it in as a bug , but usually it is user error on my part that creates these issues, so pleased that you could reproduce it.
