Build succeeds but 404

I receive a 404 error when visiting the generated url.

• My gh-pages branch serves the github pages site
• My workflow successfully runs and the directory is created with build files in my gh-pages branch but when I visit .com//pr-preview/pr-2/ I get a 404
• In my gh-pages branch there is both a .//pr-preview/pr-2 folder as well as a pr-preview/pr-2

I'm not sure why I am getting a 404

This will be tough to debug without any information about the repository.

Is the site deployed from a directory of the gh-pages branch, e.g. 'docs/'? Is the index.html at the root of the gh-pages branch what you see when you go to website.com directly?

What do you mean by "there is both a .//pr-preview/pr-2 folder as well as a pr-preview/pr-2"?

Does pr-preview/pr-2/ contain the same files as the root of the repository, i.e. index.html etc?

If none of that helps, and you are unwilling or unable to share the repository, can you share some more details about its setup and current state?

It is a private repo so I will try my best to disclose as much as I can, let me know if there is more info that can help with debug.

It is built with vite and the site is deployed from the root directory ./dist folder from the gh-pages branch.

dist, and both the pr directories contain index.html
