It might be related to a misplacement of the font offset. Can you try to play with the y offset ? Also, what is the font you're using? |

Ah, I think actually it's related to #12 - I'm on a high-resolution monitor & if I make the height much smaller, then I can see (tiny, unaligned) text |

I confirm this is also happening on a HD Resolution 1080p in vanilla emacs 28.05

thank you for sharing this great package!
Unfortunately it seems to clash with the doom emacs distribution.
When i evaluate example-2.el i get the following result:
I am using GNU Emacs 27.1 with the latest release form the doom develop branch.
Pleas let me know if i can provide you any further information to tackle this issue.
