Dart team announces that no more work on macros will happen

How does this affect development on Freezed 3.0?

I'm very disappointed about this announcement tbh...

Freezed 3.0 has come out despite macros being canceled, and while it's not perfect, it's certainly a massive upgrade.

I know. My question should be considered answered: macros were not needed for 3.0 to be shipped.
