Enable APKMirror by default?

I just noticed while looking at the app and https://github.com/rumboalla/apkupdater/blob/3.x/app/src/main/kotlin/com/apkupdater/prefs/Prefs.kt that APKMirror is disabled by default. @rumboalla Is there a specific reason for this?

App updates seem to work well through the performant and optimized API backend created specifically for apps like APKUpdater. If it's a matter of being a trusted source, I see Apptoide and APKPure being enabled by default, and IMO APKMirror is at the very least as trusted as those. Is it because APKMirror opens a new page when downloading the updated APK? Are there other issues?

I'd like to figure this out and help you enable it by default.

The experience is always going to be bad since you have to open a browser and scroll 1 million ads.

In the past year, we reduced the number of ads on the site. I think the average amount of ads on the page went down from 6-7 to 3-4. Yes, on mobile, you scroll past 2 ads to get to the download button, but it's far from unreasonable (and a million hyperbole). For example, https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/cognosphere-pte-ltd/genshin-impact/genshin-impact-5-5-0_31400259_31451966-release/genshin-impact-5-5-0_31400259_31451966-android-apk-download/.

On APKPure, it's 1 ad, but the page has numerous other ads as well. https://apkpure.com/threads/com.instagram.barcelona.

Aptoide doesn't seem to have many ads, but all downloads mask as whatever app you think you're downloading, but is instead the Aptoide client: https://ucweb-inc-uc-mini.en.aptoide.com/app.

Other sources, like Github/Gitlab, obviously don't have ads, we can't compete with that. But APKMirror has to pay the bills for well over 100TB of APKs hosted, site hosting, continuous development, etc. A lot of users trust APKMirror as the top source of apps outside the Play Store.

I hope you reconsider.

Yeah but both ApkPure and Aptoide use/offer direct downloads from the app without opening the browser, me personally I wouldn't trust either but that's what they got going for them
